Thank you to all those who came along to the Sydney Papercrafts Festival. The show was a great success and all who were involved, from the visitors, to the exhibitors, to the event team had a great time and a positive experience of the show.
Canterbury racecourse proved to be a lovely, well lit and suitably comfortable venue and we managed to fit a good amount and mix of trade and retail exhibitors in the building.
Free parking was a bonus and along with reasonable entry fees, helped to make the show an affordable outing for everyone. Others were lucky enough to utilise the free shuttle bus service that ran between the show and Canterbury train station. A fully refitted and refurbished classic MC9 coach had been used for this service and this made for a fabulously stylish and comfortable ride.
Many took part in the workshops and free demonstrations that ran throughout the day and were sufficiently inspired to flex their creative muscles and acquire new found crafting skills and techniques. Kids happily scrapped away in the kids workshops as well and so took part in the creativity and fun.
Once again, Dekoda Marketing, the event team that ran the Papercrafts Festival, would like to thank all who took part in the show. The kids will have access to an unlimited amount of paper, stickers and other paper craft supplies so they can let their imaginations run wild and create something special themselves.

If you work in or manage a business in the paper crafts industry you will definitely want to check out the Trade Expo running all day on Friday 2 October 2009 (9am to 9pm). Wholesalers will display the latest product and demonstrate the newest and best tricks of the trade!
